Miter Saws
This is a Red Level tool and requires specific training to use.
Training Checklist
- Demonstrate proper hand positioning
- Demonstrate starting and stopping the blade (time to spin up, time to brake)
- Stop the blade in the wood
- Make 4 cuts (Straight, Miter, Compound Miter, Sliding Straight)
- Leave the blade in the locked and down position when finished
- Leave the miter setting at 90 degrees
