MSLA (Masked Stereolithography Apparatus) resin 3D printer.
The Elegoo Mars is a compact resin 3D printer renowned for its ease of use and affordability, making it an excellent choice for makers seeking detailed prints. Utilizing masked stereolithography (MSLA) technology, it employs ultraviolet light to cure liquid resin layer by layer, resulting in finely detailed models. The printer features a simple touchscreen interface and uses Chitubox slicer.
All members must use Chitubox slicing software for our resin printers. This is important for ensuring the community has access to printers that are easy to use, ensuring machine longevity, and producing high-quality prints. Printing settings may be adjusted as needed, but machine settings may NOT be edited. Chitu Systems designs and manufactures the controller boards for our Elegoo 3D printers, and provide optimized printing profiles within the slicer. Per-resin exposure settings should be tuned as-needed.
Chitubox is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.
