This is a Red Level Machine and is unlocked after tool specific training

====General====
  - Check chuck key removal before starting
  - Secure workpiece properly
  - Remove chips with brush or vacuum only
  - Never leave chuck key in chuck
===Before Use:===
  - Oil all ways and sliding surfaces
  - Verify smooth carriage movement
  - Ensure chuck key is not in chuck
===After Use:===
  - Wipe down all surfaces
  - Remove all chips
  - Clean and store any tools used
    * Especially the chuck key.

====Lathe Maintenance====
===Weekly:===
  - Clean and inspect chuck jaws
  - Check belt condition
  - Clean and oil change gears
===Monthly:===
  - Inspect electrical cables
  - Clean and adjust gibs if needed
  - Check tailstock alignment
  - Level machine
